J. Andrew Huchingson is a board certified adult psychiatrist and a qualified teacher of MBSR through the UMASS School of Medicine.

MBSR or Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the UMASS School of Medicine more than 40 years ago. It has been widely studied and is the only evidence based method of learning mindfulness practices.

Mindfulness means being fully aware in the present moment. It can reduce stress, help with chronic pain, increase resilience, improve relationships, and enhance health and wellbeing.
